Shipping policy
Overview
PrintaOne ships custom 3D-printed orders from Tokyo, Japan. Because every item is made to order, your order is produced first and shipped after manufacturing is complete.
Production & Shipping Schedule
Production begins after payment is confirmed. Shipping is scheduled once your order has been manufactured, quality-checked, and prepared for dispatch.
Estimated production and shipping timelines are shown on the product page or during checkout where available. These are estimates only and may vary depending on order volume, print complexity, materials, and current production capacity.
We will notify you by email when your order has been shipped.
Shipping Carriers
We use major Japanese carriers, including but not limited to:
- Yamato Transport (Kuroneko Yamato)
- Japan Post
- Sagawa Express
The carrier and service used for your order depend on package size, weight, destination, and availability. We reserve the right to select the most suitable carrier for each shipment.
Delivery Time After Dispatch
Once your order has been shipped, delivery within Japan is typically expected within 2–5 business days, depending on your location and the carrier used.
Business days exclude weekends and Japanese national holidays. Delivery times are estimates only and are not guaranteed.
Shipping Fees
Shipping costs are calculated based on destination, package size, weight, and shipping method. Applicable shipping fees are displayed during checkout before you complete your order.
Any customs duties, import taxes, or fees for international shipments are the responsibility of the recipient unless otherwise stated at checkout.
Order Tracking
When available, a tracking number will be sent to the email address provided at checkout. You can use it to follow your shipment on the carrier’s website.
Tracking information may take up to 24–48 hours to become active after dispatch.
Delivery Address
Please ensure your shipping address and contact details are correct before placing your order. We are not responsible for delays or failed delivery caused by incorrect or incomplete address information.
If a package is returned to us due to an incorrect address, refusal of delivery, or repeated failed delivery attempts, we may contact you to arrange reshipment. Additional shipping charges may apply.
Delays & Events Beyond Our Control
Delivery may take longer than expected due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to:
- Carrier delays or service disruptions
- Severe weather or natural disasters
- Customs processing (for international orders)
- High order volume or production delays
- Public holidays or peak shipping periods
If a significant delay occurs, we will do our best to notify you and work with the carrier to resolve the issue.
Damaged or Lost Shipments
Please inspect your package upon delivery. If your order arrives damaged or does not arrive within a reasonable time after the estimated delivery window, contact us at info@printa.one with your order number and photos of any damage.
